Get It Done!

New week, new nonsense. It's almost 7am. I'm trying to plan out my week. I got two prompts in the works plus extra. World building for new stories I can work on and schedule out on Wattpad while RR demands things to be posted that day. Here's what I'm thinking. The Adventures of Owen the Owl: I want to do a Mother's Day thing since I am a mother who will do mom things. Then, this week to post by Friday is to post an adventure with Owen and Owlyn (Owl-Lynn). I believe that I can can get my views up to 150 this week if I stay on schedule.  Vice and Cats: Just a paragraph. I want to post a paragraph to my Google Doc for the first chapter. I've decided to pants things and have a timeline leading up to the first chapter for each of my books (with a few exceptions).  Dominic: Not ready to start yet. Songs of a Sheepish Bard/Ballad of the Chaotic Bard: Working on this story bible currently. I combined them since the main characters of both stories are siblings and ...

Stats for Nerds

 I have made a chart to keep track of my stories now. I feel like a nerd. Did I do this before? I doubt it. Also, I'm writing blogs in a way where I write when I want to write. It's easier for me to do so. This is suppose to be just because I want to talk to everyone about writing. I am keeping track of projects I'm doing. The first one is an excel sheet of my stories' series bible so I can keep track of important info like if I did a money system, government, ect. It's also to keep track on whether or not if I can start writing them. It's pretty nice. I'm doing Ash and Maw right now. I got carried away but I'm going to trim it down right now and then skip to the character stuff and what not. I went too far. I need to pants this... And other stories. I am going to be writing Owen, add a paragraph to Vice and Cats, and then start on another story that needs one. I need to do Dominic and Magic of Nyx. You Absolutely Amazing People

  This! This is what I woke up  and it made me cry. The jump from 50 to 100 astounds me! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Yes, I finally made it to the 2500 mark in words. I patted myself on the back on that. My chapters for The Adventures of Owen the Owl are about 1000 words a chapter, give or take. This second chapter is sitting at about 1500 words, give or take.  I am proud I came this far for where I am in my writing career. I worked hard for each view. The concept was a bit goofy for the stories I wanted to tell about a stuffed owl and that people are giving him a chance? That's really nice and lovely. It shows you don't need romance. You don't need to be dark all of the time to have some form of success, to have people to take a peek at something you enjoy writing and I enjoy writing about Owen. Now, I'm going to get back to writing because I don't know what else to say other then thank you for giving me a chance!

I am a Builder of Worlds

 I have finally posted to RoyalRoad  for The Adventures of Owen the Owl. Now, my work is done for the rest of the week... For now! I have world build with Owen's world. I'm now writing a blog and promoting it like a good little author. I'm on Facebook , Bluesky , and Substack . Now, advert over! I want to focus on world building this week. Yes, I know I said I'll work on Sassy's story but I really am in the mood to world build all of the stories I want to focus on. It's a lot and if I can knock down some of them, I'll be happy. It is distracting and I'm having fun. I am currently filling out Rochelle's and Brad's shared series bible as I like to call it. I am typing out what I have from my notebook and onto my secret doc. I got a lot more characters then what it is in my notebook/doc. I still got to make an antagonist for the story. I'll add more with sticky notes/post-its if I cannot get through with things... Good News Everyone!

  Too eager to hide the good news! As many of you know, I have been busy taking care of myself as best as I could with everything that was going on. I put everything on the backburner, especially Owen's story  (click on the word Owen's story if you want to read and follow it over on RoyalRoad). I logged onto RoyalRoad yesterday to see I got new notifications. So I clicked on it and BAM! I see this beauty. I was gone for 2 months with no updates and I get 50 views for The Adventures of Owen the Owl (cozy adventure story, low stakes). That's impressive and I dunno what I have done to get it but thank you anyways! That made my night knowing people still want to see an Owen story. Update to this is that I'm currently working on Owen's next story for the book on RoyalRoad. I'll be putting Sass on the backburner to try and get weekly stuff out. Then a paragraph a day for my Sassykins. I want to be sure I'm putting up some weekly stuff for Owen and have Sassy's...

 Proof of life update even though I've updated a long time ago... Feels like it. I don't remember when I updated my blog... So, anyways, today I've gotten a new notebook and I looked through my notebooks to see what needs a notebook for world building and it's Owen's turn. You may not know Owen but Owen is an owl. He is a rainbow owl and he's real. How is he real? He's actually my neon rainbow owl that I decided to turn into a story and decided to make cozy adventures about him. That's is the gist of Owen. So with this notebook, I decided I'm working on world building his stories and update RoyalRoad. Click on this if you want to read the first story. An Update

I'm just updating my status on if I am alive... I am! I'm eating foods I thoroughly enjoy again. I feel better after everything. My taste is different but it leaves me to enjoy all of my favorites. I'd say that surgery was successful!  I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. I'm actually going to make a schedule to keep myself on track for my writing. It's going to be great when I'm finally able to focus and write. I'm trying to fix my problems with writing. I feel like if I go to the library for 5 days a week, I can actually write for Sassy. Sassy's book is called Vice and Cats. I've made a cover for it so you know it's official! Lol. That's not how it works. It will be on Wattpad. I hope it gets enough attraction for the fact that I would love to have funding to get it published. That's my dream. I'm not going to be exclusive with Wattpad. If the creator program they have is exclusive then I'm having problems! Lol. ...
